What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a natural state of mind that we experience throughout the day ie whilst daydreaming, reading a book or watching television. You can only be hypnotised if you want it, under your own control and cannot be forced to do anything that you do not feel comfortable with.  Hypnotherapy is a pleasant feeling of deep relaxation. This in turn then allows a hypnotherapist to access the subconscious mind allowing positive mental, emotional or psychological changes to take place.

After the Initial Consultation, I prepare a tailor made screed for your first Hypnotherapy session, which is usually a couple of days later. This incorporates suitable techniques to enable you to change your life for the better. Helping you to understand your present situation, draw on experiences from the past and give positive direction for the future.

I offer a safe, comfortable, relaxed and confidential environment for you to openly talk about your concern(s). Enabling a trusted rapport to be established. This support in turn enables you to develop effective coping techniques, in order to manage current situations that you may be finding difficult.
